Yes, Foodstagraming is done with iPhones and DSLR’s alike

While most restaurants see this as a breach of privacy, it can be a great marketing tactic for any industry. If your product is interesting or high quality enough for people to share a picture of it with their friends, then you have just gained goodwill, free exposure, and a mini third party endorsement.
